Ages 8 to 14 can register (Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Bikes, Dance and Cheer, and Flag Football for ages 8-12, and Junior Cadets for ages 13-14.
What is Junior Cadets? Jr. Cadet’s an interactive program, where there are a series of guest speakers/demonstrations regarding a variety of aspects of Law Enforcement. They will get to do some field trips as well to some law enforcement training facilities (airport hangar, etc.). The youth participants will have a chance to meet a variety of officers from a variety of assignments and ask questions/interact.

June 16th-June 20th, 2025
8:00 AM- 4:00 PM (Early pick up on the 20th, 2:00 PM)
Drop off 7:30-8:00 (ATTENDANCE/CHECK-IN TO SPORT)
Pickup Time 4:00 PM (CHECK-OUT BY SPORT)

Attendance will be taken each day. Please call or text the Camp Director at 916-606-3802 (PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THIS NUMBER OTHER THAN THE WEEK OF CAMP, if you have camp questions prior to camp contact Lvasquez@sacpd.org via email. If your child will be absent from camp. Please do not send an e-mail during camp, please call.
The check-in table is located in front of the cafeteria near the main entrance for questions during camp. Your child must be signed in and out every day. THIS YEAR WE WILL HAVE SIGN IN/OUTS BY COACHES IN EACH SPORT.
The only people beside parents or guardians allowed to sign your child in or out are the people you listed under the "Emergency Contact" or "Pick-up" portion of your child's application. If you need to change this information, please contact us immediately! Be ready to show photo ID.
Your child will not need to bring any special equipment or money to camp; however, each child must be dressed in comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for exercise. Do not send your child to camp wearing:
Sandals or flip-flops
Jeans
Short skirts or dresses
Excessively baggy or long clothing
For safety reasons, campers dressed inappropriately will not be allowed to participate in camp activities; parents/guardians will be contacted and asked to bring appropriate clothing to camp for their child.
Meals
Breakfast, Lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided.

Applicants need to reach out themselves leaving their own contact information and look at this experience as a job.
To be eligible for a Junior Staff position, you must be 15 - 17 years old
during camp. Jr. Staff Volunteers may be required to take a Live Scan fingerprint (at no cost to the applicant) as part of the application process. Applicants will be notified with additional
information.
Junior Staff must be able to:
Attend the entire week of camp.
You will be notified through email regarding your application. Not all applicant will be chosen.

Thank you for coaching the 2024 Camp. For those of you who have coached before, you know the week will be hard work, but it’s also very rewarding. We receive positive feedback from families all year long and we couldn’t do this without you. Our coaches truly make the camp!
